Six arrested in FSA insider dealing investigation
28th May 2009Five men and one woman, aged between 27 and 34, were today arrested in connection with an ongoing investigation by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) into suspected organised insider dealing. Search warrants were also executed at eight addresses in London and Essex as part of the investigation.
Today's operation was jointly carried out by the FSA and the City of London Police Economic Crime Directorate (ECD). The operation and investigation are part of the FSA''s work to tackle market abuse.
